Marna Naude
IGSE and English Teacher
Biographie
My name is Marna Naudé and I teach Middle School English Language and Literature and 3 IGCSE modules (English First Language, World literature and. Global Perspectives) at LFIA. With 8 years of teaching experience in Belgium I hold postgraduate degrees in Education and Psychology and Certifications in teaching English from the University of Cambridge. In South Africa I gained experience in public speaking, hosting seminars, psychological counseling and organizational management.
I am passionate about teaching and learning, and this can be seen in my continuous pursuit of knowledge and the sharing of and co-creation of knowledge through the building of meaningful relationships.
When I’m not teaching, I can be found knitting or crocheting while listening to audio books or watching movies. Every year I undertake a solo cycling trip through the Netherlands, and I have almost completed the Zuiderzeeroute. I like traveling in Europe and collecting wool from different countries for the memory blanket that I am knitting. I was born and lived in South Africa until I moved to Belgium in 2017. I have dual nationality, South African and Belgian.
